Decide on the features you want in your Eee PC. Do you want Bluetooth capability, or wireless N or G, would you want a camera included? Do you want the spinning-disk hard drive (HDD) or a solid state hard drive (SSD)? While the SSD provides better impact resistance, it also contains less space given the price. But storage can be increased with a SDHC card. The HDD hard drive usually has 160GB.

The next choice to make is the operating system for your Eee machine. Are you comfortable with the Linux, or do you want Windows XP?

Another choice is the color of the machine. Your choices are bamboo, blue, steel, red, white or black.
